That’s Right Pitchfork…

Remember that little rant I went on about Pitchfork and their rating about Childish Gambino’s album CAMP?  Pitchfork’s reader polls show that the followers of Pitchfork rated CAMP as the number one underrated album of the year.  That’s right Pitchfork..even your followers don’t agree with the statement you were trying to send.  Guess that one kind of back fired on you huh?  Again, shout out to Pigeons and Planes for once again being on the ball about this whole issue, it is appreciated.

Looking for a little icing on top?  The pretentious behavior demonstrated by Pitchfork is clearly depicted in the fact that they rated Bon Iver’s album number one of the year.  And what did they pick for number one overrated album of the year?  Drum roll please…Bon Iver’s album again!  You are not mistaken, you did indeed read that correctly.  Pitchfork picked the same album for most overrated and number one album of the year.  If you can figure out how that makes sense, please get back to me, I would love to hear.

So yeah, just wanted to do a little follow up story on the whole matter not that it is somewhat resolved.  Knowing Childish, he will probably have something clever to say about it in his next mixtape or album to come out.  That’s all for now.  Enough Chatter.

Don’t believe me?  See for yourself.

  1. how are most of the top 10 over rated albums in the top 50 albums of the year. AND how is childish gambino the #1 most underrated album. seems like they’re trying to make up for that 1.6 bullshit.
